is Ardoria Studios?
Ardoria
Studios is a private art studio located East
of Cleveland Ohio.
How
did Ardoria Studios get started?
Ardoria
Studios started out as a husband and wife team
at a home based private art studio making unique
items for family and friends and collaborating
with local artists on special projects.
People
started seeing our work and asking to buy existing
works or commission us to produce unique pieces
for them.
Based
on the amount of feedback and recent increased
interest in our work, we decided to create Ardoria
Studios and market our works on a larger scale.
How
can I purchase an item from Ardoria Studios?
The
easiest way to purchase one of our pieces is
to click on any item listed on our Home
Page
that's listed for sale. You will be taken to
our Ardoria
Studios Etsy store
where you can securely purchase any of our items
that are currently available for purchase..
If
you have spotted an item on the site (Galleries)
that is
not currently listed as currently available
for purchase, you can contact
us directly using the email link provided to
inquire about having one made to order, price, and lead
time.
We
are not a wholesaler. All our exclusive pieces
are made one at a time. While we may have some
pieces already made up and in stock, others
can only be made on an “as ordered” basis and
require a deposit. Please see our Terms
and Conditions for purchasing and deposit
details.
Why
can’t I contact Ardoria Studios via phone?
Even
though we are now marketing ourselves via the
Web, we are still an exclusive private studio
and want to maintain some level of privacy to
allow us to concentrate on completing existing
customer orders and to continue to create new
unique high quality pieces without interruption.
We
prefer to use email as a primary communication
tool so we can respond to general pricing and
availability questions at our leisure. This
allows us to ensure our existing clientele and
current orders are our first priority.
Once
a person decides to become a customer, many
emails and phone calls may be exchanged throughout
the transaction to ensure the customer is comfortable
with their purchase and the item(s) meet or
exceed their expectations. The amount of communication
is dependant on the complexity and/or personal
nature of the product(s) ordered. For example,
there are many communications that have to occur
throughout the design phase of a custom sign
versus very little communication is needed while
a Figural Nutcracker is being created from an
existing design.
Are
all the items you sell hand made at your studio?
Yes
and no. On occasion we will carry gift items
that are clearly not an Ardoria Studios produced
item (the Tetsubin Teapot Set is a good example
of this). These type of items will be clearly
marked as a retail item and clearly note the
place of origin (i.e. Made in China).
Items
exclusively made by Ardoria Studios are hand
made in the USA with materials that originate
in the USA when possible. For example, our custom
made knives’ Stainless Steel blades are
made for us by a company in the US from hardened
US Stainless Steel which is clearly noted in
their description.
